We traveled 36 miles on the Atlantic Ocean to go to Staten Island. The day was lovely with clam seas. We traveled pretty close to shore and it was nice to see all the buildings and houses along the way. We are staying at Great Kills Yacht Club which is in a protected moon-shaped harbor. We had dinner with the harbor hosts, John and Julie, along with Looper friends, Joe and Barbara, and Richard and Terry. The Italian dinner was delicious.
